Oregon wildlife refuge standoff is ending: At least eight in custody; at least two shot

AS OF 9:45 PM EST, 26 January.

Local tv news is reporting that FBI and Oregon state police arrested terrorist leader Ammon Bundy and seven others in at a roadblock near the occupied wildlife refuge.

Bundy and his terrorist accomplices were on their way to speak to a meeting called by local people who wanted these thugs to go away when FBI and Oregon state police nabbed them at a roadblock.

Reports vary but it appears that at least eight are in custody, two shot, local hospital on lockdown, over 50 miles of local roads and highways blocked.

Update, 10:00 p.m. EST: The Oregonian reported that Payne, along with Ammon Bundy and his brother Ryan, were arrested, as were Joe “Captain O” O’Shaughnessy, a member of the Oath Keepers militia group, and Brian Cavalier, a “bodyguard” for the Bundys. They were all charged with conspiracy to impede a federal officer by force, a federal felony. One militant was reportedly killed during a shootout with authorities, but their name has not been released.

10:14 PM  FBI confirms one terrorist dead.

10:41 PM EST:  LaVoy Finicum, the "Blue Tarp Guy," reported to be dead.  I'd call that a good start.

LaVoy Finicum — the Oregon militant who gained fame for conducting a television interview from beneath a blue tarp — has reportedly been shot and killed by law enforcement officers.
The Arizona rancher, who was caring for 11 foster children with his wife, vowed at the start of the occupation of the Malheur National Wildlife Preserve that he was willing to die for his interpretation of the U.S. Constitution.
“I have been raised in the country all my life,” Finicum said in a widely viewed television interview with a rifle on his lap. “I love dearly to feel the wind on my face. To see the sun rise, to see the moon. I have no intention of spending any of my days in a concrete box.”
He was reportedly shot Tuesday evening during a shootout when law enforcement officers stopped a group of militants on their way to establish a shadow government in nearby Grant County.
State Rep. Michele Fiore (R-Nevada), who is close to the Bundy family and other militants, has identified Finicum as the militant who has been reportedly killed.
Six others — including Ammon and Ryan Bundy — were arrested following the shootout.
Reports indicate that one other person might have been wounded in the gunfire.

10:53 PM EST:  Toughguy terrorist John Ritzheimer -- the one who said he was "ready to die" -- ran away and is hiding out at home in Arizona, begging for legal help!!!

00:19 AM 27 January:

Ritzheimer turned himself in to Arizona police.  Wonder if he's an FBI informant?

Crazyass Nevada Congresscritter Michele Fiore is claiming that LaVoy Finiucm had his hands up, trying to surrender, when he was shot dead.  I'm calling BULLSHIT on that.
