Trump campaign chair in Oklahoma arrested in motel room with underage boy

MOORE, Okla. - Oklahoma Republican Senator Ralph Shortey is under investigation for an incident at a motel with a teenage boy.

Cleveland County District Attorney Greg Mashburn told NewsChannel 4 the boy is 16 or 17, and that is the age of consent in Oklahoma.

Shortey is 35.

The incident took place at a Super 8 in Moore.

From oksenate.gov:
A member of the Rosebud Sioux Indian Tribe, Senator Ralph Shortey was born in Casper, Wyoming. He spent part of his childhood on the Rosebud Sioux Indian Reservation in Grass Mountain, South Dakota before moving to Oklahoma City where he attended Moore Public Schools. Shortey graduated from West Moore High School in 2000, and following graduation he attended Heartland Baptist Bible College in Oklahoma City in preparation for mission work in Uganda. In 2002, Ralph married his high school sweetheart, Jennifer and continues to make his home in south Oklahoma City with their two children, Kaitlyn and Elena. With a growing family, Shortey decided against pursuing mission work and instead entered the oil and gas industry, working as a production consultant. In 2010 Shortey, a long-time political volunteer, decided to run for the Senate District 44 seat. In addition to serving in the Oklahoma State Senate, he is currently pursuing a degree in finance and economics. Senator Shortey’ s priorities in the Legislature include personal liberty, fighting illegal immigration and strengthening public safety in Oklahoma.

A direct mail piece sent to Shortey’s constituents show that he was also endorsed by Sheriff Joe Arpaio for his opposition to immigration and immigrants and by Sen. James Lankford (R-OK) for his “conservative principles.” Beth and Dog the Bounty Hunter hosted a rally for Shortey’s election in 2014.

UPDATE -- March 16:  Oklahoma police have issued three prostitution-related charges against this Republican hypocrite.

The Moore Police Department on Wednesday announced that it has recommended three prostitution-related charges against State Sen. Ralph Shortey.

The recommended charges include: soliciting prostitution of a minor, prostitution within 1,000 feet of a church and transporting for the purpose of prostitution.

Did I mention Shortey was Trump's Oklahoma state chair?

Oh, I did?

Well did I mention he was endorsed by Sheriff Joe Arpaio? Or that Dog the Bounty Hunter once hosted a rally for him?

Oh, I did?

Well, okay -- just wanted to make certain everyone knows these facts.

Meanwhile, here's another photo of Shortey from his Facebook page.
